country weeklyIt's widely known around Nashville that George Strait doesn't give many interviews, but that's not stopping him from conducting one. In the latest issue of Country Weekly magazine, George takes on the task by interviewing Reba McEntire, his new tour mate. In the story, titled "Reba & Me," McEntire talks to Strait about songs, her early days of touring, future challenges and more. Reba reveals that her favorite tune from George is "The Chair," calling it a "classic" vocal performance. When discussing McEntire's rejection of Strait's hit "Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind?" due to its beer drinking reference, Reba jokes that she plans to follow-up her current chart-topping single, "Consider Me Gone," with a version of "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound." As far as their upcoming tour, the stars didn't disclose any details, but when George asked McEntire if they were going to do a duet, she quipped, "When are you gonna return my call?" The two superstars, along with Lee Ann Womack, kick-off their 19-city tour later this month.
