When Carrie Underwood's grandmother was still living, her family had a tradition to go to the local nursing home. They would sing Christmas carols like "Silent Night" and "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" up and down the halls as they passed out little goodie bags for the residents. Carrie recalls, "It was just a really cool thing that we did. I really wish we still did it. We quit when my grandma got sick, but...it's really easy to forget about people during that time of year, 'cause there's so much going on." Underwood says she loves singing traditional hymns and Christmas songs.
