An Arizona music teacher has been placed on administrative leave for taking 40 members of a high school choir to Hooters for lunch. The Arizona Republic reports Paradise Valley High School choir director Mary Segall took her students to Hooters while they were on a school outing to downtown Phoenix for a musical performance. The newspaper says Segall informed the school that Hooters was the only restaurant in the area that could accommodate a group that large, but officials believed she had other options available to her for lunch. The report says Segall plans on retiring in January.
