1# Ground Beef
1/2 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 can of Refried Beans - You can use Regular or with Green Chili's
9-12 uncooked Lasagna noodles
2 cups Water
2 cups Salsa (for hotter lasagna, you can use HOT salsa)
1 small container Sour Cream
1-1/2 cups shredded Taco or Mexican Cheese (you can use as much or as little as you want)
Options: You can add jalapenos to beef mixture if you like HOT taste, or you can use HOT salsa. You can also put Black Olives on top of cheese.
Brown ground beef and add cumin, oregano, salt and pepper. Add can of refried beans to seasoned beef and mix together until it gets "mushy".
Spray 9x13 pan with PAM, lay 3 uncooked lasagna noodles lengthwise in pan, if you like noodles, you can cut another one to fit crosswise on the end of the pan. Add 1/2 of the meat mixture on top of the noodles. Repeat layer of noodles and meat mixture, end with layer of noodles on top. Combine 2 cups water with 2 cups salsa, mix and pour over the noodle/beef mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350.
After baked, remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Spread sour cream over the top of the noodles and add cheese (as much or as little as you like) and bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. (You can add black olives on top of cheese if you like.)
Cut in squares and Enjoy. Goes well with Tostito or Dorito chips and BEER!
