INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup M&M's plain chocolate candies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1.1/4 cups flour
1 pkg.(8 0z) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
SERVES 9
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven 350 F.
Line an 8" square pan w/ foil.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the candies in pan.
In medium bowl, beat butter or margarine & brown sugar until smooth; beat in flour until crumbly.
Crumble 3/4 mixture over candies; pat to completely cover the bottom of the pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat cream cheese & sugar until smooth; stir in egg, vanilla & lemon. Pour over crust.
Bake 15 minutes.
Toss remaining candies w/ remaining crumbly mixture; crumble over filling.
Bake another 15 minutes.
Remove to cool.
Using foil, lift out cheesecake, cut into squares and enjoy!
