I remember getting a Yo yo as a kid. I don't remember what age, but I was very pleased with myself when I learned how to Yo yo it up and down...up and down...I think I even figured out how to walk the dog. And that was about it. My parents did not push me to strive for Yo yo excellence. And now I have to wonder why not? This could've been me! IfSix-year-old Kazuya Murata of Japan can be this good at 6 just imagine how mighty a string slinger I could've, would've become if only they had told me to put down the trombone. Drop the baseball glove- "get to working your Yo yo son!". Instead of some silly radio job I might have aspired to delight country fair crowds across the country. Make it onto Letterman. Make my parents proud.
So here's some advice to parents out there. Your kid could, nay, SHOULD be this good at something by the age of 6.
