Today I'm thinking about what to wear with skinny jeans. I bought my first pair yesterday on the advice of someone who told me that they will make me look thinner and taller. I was on my way home when I realized I don't have a clue what to wear with them. What's worse is that I started worrying that I'm too old to pull them off. Is there an age limit on skinny jeans? Do they really look good on a person as shapely as me or are they only meant for super skinny girls with chicken legs?

Today I'm thinking about my disappointment in Fox for cancelling House! The Fox network announced yesterday that this will be the last season for its long0-running drama House. "The decision to end the show now, or ever, is a painful one, as it risks putting asunder hundreds of close friendships that have developed over the last eight years - but also because the show itslef has been a source of great pride to everyone involved," said executive producers David Shore, Katie Jacobs and star Hugh Laurie in a joint statement. "The producers have always imagined House as an enigmatic creature; he should never be the last one to leave the party. How much better to disappear before the music stops, while there is still some promise and mystique in the air." House is currently in its eighth season. A date for the series finale has not been announced yet.

Gwyneth Paltrow is happily married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, but she wasn't always to happy in her relationships. "I had a boyfriend who used to cheat on me all the time," the 39-year-old, who used to date Brad PItt and Ben Affleck, tells Harper's Bazaar. "I was quite naive. I knew on a cellular level, but I bought his story." Not that Gwyneth thinks cheating should necessarily mean the end of a relationship. "I have friends who I love and admire who have had an affair," she said. "When I was younger, I would have said he's a terrible person or she's a terrible person. But who made these laws?"

Monday three of the five X Factor personalities got the AX! Paula Abdul, Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger were fired, only LA Reid and Simon Cowell remain. Paula confirmed the news on Tuesday. "Yes, it's true; I won't be returning to The X Factor next season," she said in a statement. She did say that the split was "amicable" and she still considers X Factor executive producer, Simon Cowell, "a dear friend". 

Simon Cowell released his own statement about the firings, saying, "I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole, and Steve for being a part of The X Factor last year." He added, "You do develop friendships with the people you work with and Paula in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the new future." 

While X Factor was a modest hit for Fox, it didn't do nearly as well as Cowell predicted it would in the press. It was also one of the most expensive productions on TV so changes had to be made or the show would be in danger of meeting the chopping block. According to the Hollywood Reporter the decision to fire the two judges and show host came after Simon Cowell called a meeting with his team to figure out what went wrong during season one. According to sources, in this meeting Abdul was deemed "irrelevant to the mix," especially since most of her contestants were booted early in the competition. Reports claim that even though Cowell personally recruited Paula for the show, he did not call her personally to tell her she'd been let go. 

No word on who will replace the trio, although insiders say Cowell wants a bigger celebrity on the panel next season.

Today I'm thinking about lying. Why would you lie about people you had sex with especially if you're famous or semi-famous? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville, who is probably most well known for being the wife of the guy that LeAnn Rimes cheated on her husband with, claims that she slept with Gerard Butler. TMZ recently caught up with Gerard and asked him about it. His response, "Who is Brandi Glanville?" Either she's lying or he's such a play boy that he really just doesn't remember.

Today I'm thinking about how many celebrity relationships have failed recently. Just off the top of my head: Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries, Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher, Katy Perry & Russell Brand, Seal & Heidi Klum. I know there are more, but like I said just off the top of my head. Now the tabloids are saying that Johnny Depp's 15 year relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis may be in trouble.

Paradis has commented about the rumors that she and Depp have called it quits. "You know, when I eat three peas, I'm pregnant. When I visit a city, I'm buying a house. In the winter I separate, in the summer I marry," she told Europe 1 while promoting her new film Cafe De Flore. "It's been 15 years since I've been getting married every year. In addition I have to answer all these rumors!"

Adding to the speculation Depp was not at Paradis' premiere.

Today I'm thinking about Kim Kardashian's failed marriage to Kris Humpheries only because she was on Live with Kelly yesterday talking about it. Kim was the guest co-host on Live with Kelly yesterday, where she discussed her failed marriage, claiming that getting hitched to Kris Humphries was bad for business. "If you think I really made all that money that everyone claimed we made on the wedding and that it was for TV...I'm a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer!" Kardashian explained. "This was a bad business decision. I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash." Although they were only married 72 days, Kim insists she didn't give up on her marriage very easily. "I definitely tried everything I could [to save it], but also heard sotries of people who had kids and stayed married for years and it didn't end up working out," she said. "I want babies and that forever love and if I felt in my heart that this wasn't right, why wait years to the same result?"

Did she really call her marriage a business decision?

Today I'm thinking about Seal and Heidi Klum calling it quits. They've always seemed to be the perfect pair, always gushing over each other and their kids. If they can't make it I'm convinced that no celebrity couple can.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate," they said in a joint statement. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

Seal and Heidi married in Mexico in 2005 and have 4 children together. During their years together they gushed over each other and flooded the celebrity relationship world with romance. The seemed so happy and they rarely showed up in the press without each other. They even renewed their vows annually.

An insider says that they have been fighting a lot lately. Even the vacation pictured here they fought most of the trip. This is the picture Seal Tweeted with the caption "The End." So sad.
