This story is blowing our minds!
A 12-year-old Michigan boy who had been missing for a week was found alive and well in the basement of his own home.
The boy was found barricade behind boxes and a large 55-gallon drum, raising suspicions as to whether someone might have hidden him. Detroit police officers found the boy while serving a search warrant on the home as part of their investigation into his disappearance.
Officers had been inside the home before and cadaver dogs searched the house last week and have concluded that the boy was not in the basement at that time.
Police said that when they found the boy, he appeared to be hiding and did not announce himself.
The boys father found out that his son was found alive in his basement in the middle of a TV interview with Nancy Grace.
Last night, the boys stepmother was arrested on an unrelated incident, but the child reportedly told authorities that she was helping him while he hid from his dad.
Detroit police are now investigating the possibility of child abuse.
Vanessa thought the father's reaction on live TV was genuine, but BS says no way. He feels his reaction was fake.
