Celebrity Hookups of 2009:
Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner though neither has really admitted it yet.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and costar on Ghost Whisperer Jamie Kennedy.
Lee Ann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian (CSI Miami). These two hooked up while they were both married and since have both split from their spouses. Eddie's wife took it so well she proudly slashed the tires on his Motorcycle.
And that leads us to the Celebrity Breakups of 2009:
They haven't officially called it quits yet, but Elin says she and Tiger are going to separate after the holidays since he hooked up with every cocktail waitress he ever met!
Jessica Simpson is back on the hook up list with Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins after her big split with Cowboys Quarterback and WI native Tony Romo.
The most tiresome of all the celebrity breakups is that of Jon and Kate from TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8. We can put Jon on the list a second time because now he's back in splitsville after Hailey Glassman got tired of putting up with his crap.
Do I need to remind you of Rihanna and Chris Brown? They've both gone public recently with their sides of the story from the night Chris beat Rihanna up. That split was mostly self preservation she admitted shortly after that she was still in love with him.
Then the most hard to follow relationships of the year award goes to Jennifer Aniston. Jen and John Mayer together then split then back together then split and Jen hooks up with costar Gerard Butler then they split and Jen is spotted with Bradley Cooper who claims their just friends. Then Jen goes back to John for a third time and now they've split again I guess from John's recent statement, "Yeah, I'm a little freaked out about dating. So, I'm just going to let time pass and just do my thing."
The only couple that breaks up and gets back together more than Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer is Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

Today I'm thinking about all the charities I donate to and all those which I would like to donate to, but can't. All charities are worthy, but most of us can't afford to donate to all of them so we have to choose our charities carefully. This time of year we are all thinking about giving so of course more charities are calling for help.
Artists Amy Grant, Sara Evans, Pat Green and Rascal Flatts join their fellow American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet members in order to support the organization's holiday giving campaign. Sara is included in the online "Gifts that Save the Day" catalog and has voiced a radio public service announcement, while Pat has taken to his facebook account to encourage his fans to "give the gift that saves the day." The guys of Rascal Flatts share, "It gives us great pleasure to be able to work with such a caring wonderful organization like the American Red Cross because of what it provides to this country-and around the world."
Donating a little to a lot of charities goes a long way. It sure makes you feel good to know you are supporting good causes. And if you can't afford to donate, volunteer.

Today I'm thinking about finally starting "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer (pictured to the left). Stephanie Meyer is the author of the Twilight Saga which I loved, but you all already know that! My sister read "The Host" which is about Aliens and loved it just as much as the Twilight books. I started reading it a while ago, but didn't get too far before I got distracted doing a million other things that needed to get done. I guess it just didn't grab me as much in the first few pages as the Twilight book so I felt as if I could set it down and come back to it and I haven't yet. I plan to start it over again this Thursday! I am going out of town so what better time to start a book?
Here's a taste of it:
"Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact and continue their lives apparently unchanged. Most of humanity has succumbed.
When Melanie, one of the few remaining "wild" humans is captured, she is certain it is her end. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, was warned about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the glut of senses, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.
Wanderer probes Melanie's thoughts, hoping to discover the whereabouts of the remaining human resistance. Instead, Melanie fills Wanderer's mind with visions of the man Melanie loves—Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer begins to yearn for a man she has been tasked with exposing. When outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off on a dangerous and uncertain search for the man they both love."
It sounds really good and I'm really looking forward to reading it because I love reading, I just wish my schedule allowed me more time to read!
I have something in common with Kellie Pickler that I never would've imagined. She doesn't seem like a book worm to me, but apparently she loves to read! She tells San Antonio's Express News, "I have the greatest admiration for authors. I read all the time." She is a writer at heart saying, "Some people express themselves through dancing or sports. I express myself through writing. It's therapeutic and healing. My favorite part about making an album is writing." Kellie is currently working on songs for her third album.

Today I'm thinking about Christmas movies. I love Christmas movies! If my husband didn't get so annoyed by it I'd have them on all day and all night. My favorite Christmas movie is such a hard question to answer because I love too many of them. "White Christmas" was one that my mom had to watch every year so that brings back such great Christmas memories for me. Of course all the clay-mation ones and frosty and peanuts, but I can't say that I have one favorite of all of them.
When Kellie Pickler was asked what her favorite Christmas movie is without hesitation she answered, "I love the Grinch. The best part about Christmas is being able to turn on the TV and see the cartoon. It's one of my favorites."
What's your favorite? Comment below.

Today I'm thinking about being rich and famous. Isn't that something we all dream about at one point in our lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have everything we wanted when we wanted it? Wouldn't it be great to have everyone around us at our beckon call?
Carrie Underwood took some time for Esquire magazine to write down things that she has learned. Among her revelations, Carrie writes, "I've learned the most throughout my life from age 22 till now," and she notes, "As you step off that stage, you're pretty much alone." Carrie also shares, "My cell phone is my best friend. It's my lifeline to the outside world." She admitted to finding normal celebrities is hard and when it comes to the media you can't trust them.
As for her fabulous and glamorous lifestyle, Carrie writes, "When people think of what it's like to be famous, they think of the Ritz. But I've been in hotels where I will not take my shoes off. I will wear flip-flops in the shower. I've seen more basements of venues than I've seen of the United States. People think, 'Oh, you travel around, you get to see the country.' I've seen basements, I've seen concrete, I've seen pillars."
I guess it's good that Carrie has found herself a "normal" professional hockey player to spend her down time with.
None of us really think about how lonely it must be to be away from our friends and family all the time or to be without friends because you don't really know who to trust.
I don't think I'll be daydreaming about being rich and famous anymore.

Today I'm thinking about country festivals and how many of them we have in WI! We have Country Fest, Country USA, Country Jam, Fuddfest, Hodag, and Country Thunder (I'm sure I'm missing some).
Although he isn't touring next year, Kenny Chesney is making a stop in WI next summer. July 25th you can catch him at Country Thunder! He is also planning on doing some other music festivals throughout the country. Kenny says, "People forget what a place these festivals have in our music. To me, it's kinda like what we do in the stadiums: give the fans a chance to come out and spend the day with their friends. You know? It's not just a show, it's a way to live your life in the music...and I know for me, those all day shows have been a blast!" He adds, "Anyone who knows me knows I can't not play." Before playing his 2010 dates, Kenny has a lot on his plate to keep him busy. He currently is hard at work on his "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D" concert film, as well as preparing for his next album and working on some special projects.

Today I'm thinking about Brooks & Dunn. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn tried out solo careers, but didn't really achieve much success until after they teamed up. Ronnie tells USA Today, "Brooks & Dunn caught us by surprise. It took off, and we rode that horse. As fast as we could." and it worked because they stood out from the crowd. Kix explains, "We've never had very good harmonies, honestly. We've always bounced around in our own little worlds on stage. It's been a uniques and different kind of chemistry." Because of those differences breakup rumors first surfaced in the late 90s. It didn't help those rumors that they used separate producers and recorded in different sessions. Looking back at it now Ronnie thinks they should've taken a break to let the dust settle, but they plowed through with even more success.
Now that the duo is officially breaking up Ronnie Dunn plans on working on solo projects, we'll see if it works out for him better this time. And Kix Brooks plans to focus on other ventures as well as songwriting which is his true passion.
What do you think? Will they be back someday?

Today I'm thinking about being embarrassed. We've all been there! We've all done something totally stupid or embarrassing that we wish we could do all over again. Some things are minor and others major, but we survive them all and look back and laugh.
I do so many embarrassing things everyday I can't even name one because I've stopped taking notes. But no matter how embarrassing the things I've done have been Miss Kellie Pickler has got to win the Red Face award.
Kellie tells AOL's The Boot "Halfway through the tour, I got pants that didn't even have a button or fly, they just slid on. I'm so bad about it...I always go to the bathroom right before I go onstage because I drink so much water, so I'm notorious for procrastinating getting ready, then running into the bathroom, then hurrying and rushing to the stage and going out with my fly undone."
But wait there's more this is the award winning part, "It is so humiliating!" she says, "I did that on American Idol I don't know how many times. The finale with 40 million people watching, my fly was undone!"
Can you imagine? Leave the stage after the performance and have one of the stage hands say, "hey, Kellie, zip it!" FUNNY!! Good thing the girl has a great sense of humor.

Today I'm thinking about how much I love the holidays. I'm finally in the Christmas spirit thanks to the Christmas Christmas tree in my living room, the Christmas music on the radio and the Christmas movies on TV. I love Christmas movies. I don't care how cheesy they are I'll watch 'em all.
I'm even looking forward to Christmas specials on TV. Carrie Underwood has a Christmas special coming up which includes a lot of special guests one of which is her own mother. Carrie's Christmas special will air on Fox on Monday.
Though Carrie tells FOXNews.com, "I don't have an acting 'bug'. It's not something that is on my bucket list." She is looking forward to showing off her comedic talents in this variety show.
