Gross, but true! Someone has invented a shirt they claim doesn't need to be ironed or washed for 100 days! Perfect shirt for lazy guys.
Wool & Prince says the shirt resists odor so effectively that it even smells fresh after being worn during rigorous exercise. You can wear the shirt for 100 days straight and it will stay looking clean, smelling fresh and wrinkle free.
They also say it doesn't need ironing because it is made of wrinkle-free material that can withstand even the roughest of treatment.
The shirt sells for $98, but just think of all the money you'll save on laundry detergent and water or dry cleaning?
I just don't buy it! If you wear a shirt for 50 days it's dirty I don't care what it's made of! What do you think?
Yesterday I was driving home excited about the fact that the snow has finally melted. Then I noticed an old man walking along the side of the road carrying a bag collecting garbage from the ditch. So much garbage along our back country roads. Why do people litter? What makes something think that it's okay to throw a soda can out the window? Is it really so hard to wait until you get to a gas station to throw it out? Or home? Is it that much of an inconvenience to have that can in your cup holder for a few more miles?
Once when I was in high school I was driving and I had a friend in the passenger seat who threw their fast food bag out the window. I stopped the car and told her I wouldn't move until she got out and picked it up. I didn't think about the fact I could've lost a friend at that moment all I thought about was how wrong it was for her to litter. Luckily for me it worked out. We're still friends to this day and she hasn't tried to litter around me since.
I will be out with my garbage bag picking up trash along my road today, cussing the whole time, because it shouldn't be my responsiblity to clean up after inconsiderate people.
Am I being over senstive about this?
So often we're shown the evil in the world. Horrible people doing horrible things all over the news. As I sit here staring at the picture of the surviving Boston Bomber suspect it makes my heart hurt. I feel so relieved that he's caught, but so sorry for the people that were at the Boston Marathon, the 264 people who were injured and the families of the 3 people who died, that have to relive that horror every time they watch the news or see his picture. And they'll have to deal with that fear through the trial.
Then remember that there are so many more good people in the world than bad and that was proven on Monday April 22nd. Marking one week from the Boston Marathon bombing hundreds of runners gathered in Chicago to run for Boston. Many runners wearing Boston Marathon signature colors blue and yellow while others donned "Runners for Boston" T-shirts.
"Tonight is not only a reflection on what happened last week, it's also a celebration of moving forward," said event organizer and owner of Fleet Feet Dave Zimmer.
Fleet Feet sponsored 90 runners in the Boston Marathon, luckily none of them were hurt. Fleet Feet along with many other sporting goods stores have "Runners for Boston" T-shirts for sale to benefit One Fund Boston, which will raise money to help the families most affected by the bombings.
A friend of mine moved out to LA to chase a dream of becoming a movie star. I've known Beau Nelson since we were in middle school. I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard about his risky move, becoming an actor takes a lot of hard work, but Beau is always up for a challenge.
Since moving to LA he's done some modeling and quite a few small parts in movies including playing Peppy's boyfriend in the Academy Award winning movie The Artist. Then came All American Zombie Drugs, which was actually filmed in 2010 but not released until 2013. Beau was cast as Sabastian one of the two main characters in the movie.
If you're a Zombie fanatic or if you just love silly funny movies check this one out. I love both so I'm excited to be able to get a copy next week. I've read a few reviews on the movie...all good. One celebrates the anti-drug message. I can't wait to see it and review it myself.
All American Zombie Drugs is available on DVD Tuesday, April 23rd.
Is it June yet? Wait, no I don't want it to be the end, but I can't wait for the next and final season of Dexter either! I am torn.
I am a freak for Dexter. I have been hooked since day 1. When I couldn't watch it at home because I couldn't afford Showtime I watched it on demand at my mom's house on Sundays. Every season is better than the season before even though at the end of each season I say to myself "How on Earth will they top that!" They do.
In case you haven't seen it here's an overview: Dexter's mother was murdered right in front of him when he was small and the cop that found him, Harry, adopted him. As Dexter was growing up his adopted father discovered there was something different about Dexter and when animals in the neighborhood went missing he gave Dexter rules to live by, a code. Dexter continued to kill under Harry's code, always having abosolute proof of someone's crimes before taking their life. As an adult Dexter works along side his sister for the Miami police department. Deb, Dex's sister, is a detective and Dexter is a blood splatter analyst which allows him access to all kinds of bad guys to murder.
The season finale for season 7 was amazing! Deb was forced to make a choice that she doesn't have the stomach for left her broken and it really shows in this teaser clip for season 8.
Dexter season 8 premieres June 30th on Showtime!
Well this just proves that everyone has body issues! Kristin Chenoweth claims she has a muffin top on Twitter! Did she mean she was eating one? The adorable southern 44 year old stands only 4'11" and weighs only 88 pounds. Not only does she say she has a muffin top, but she also says that being tiny is not so fun, she says that shopping for a bikini is like "hell on Earth." "I'm a 32C on top. I have curves!" she said. "The wrong suit can make me look squatty. I have to watch that."
Oh Kristin! It's a good thing I love you so much or I just might hate you.

Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again surprise surprise! Charlie Sheen helped Lindsay out when she needed $100,000 to pay a massive tax bill and she didn't thank him until after he made a big stink about her not thanking him. Well, they must have made up because she is a guest star on an upcoming episode of Charlie's show Anger Management. However, she was not a dream to work with. She arrived on set two hours late. At one point she refused to leave her trailer. She and Charlie were supposed to be interviewed by Entertainment Tonight and she blew off the interview and Charlie was quite obviously not impressed. Finally, reports surfaced today that she allegedly stole clothing and jewelry from the set. She said that they had an agreement to take the value of the items out of her paycheck, but according to the show there was no such agreement. Hey, didn't she say she had an agreement with the store she stole that necklace from a couple years ago? Lindsay, honey, an agreement means that both parties are aware and agree to a plan.
Taylor Swift will make an appearance on the season 2 finale of the Fox show New Girl on May 14th!
She will be playing a scorned ex...that's a stretch LOL. Taylor plays Elaine who is a very important guest at Cece and Shivran's wedding. Taylor heads to the set next week to shoot while on break from her "Red Tour."
I thought she did a good job when she guested on CSI so I look forward to seeing her on New Girl, one of my favorite shows.
