    Sugarland

Sugarland will guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday (November 30) to promote their holiday album Gold And Green. The CMA Duo of the Year will perform a Christmas classic during the show with Jennifer Hudson. The visit marks Sugarland's second appearance on Oprah this year.

As expected, Kristian Bush is pretty jazzed about another invite from the queen of talk:  "The only thing better than having appeared on Oprah in February and getting her phone number would be that her phone number pops back up on your phone and she says, 'Would you come back and be on my show again?'"

    Tim Mcgraw

Tim McGraw is also part of Oprah's holiday extravaganza and will be performing "Happy Christmas (The War Is Over)" with Alicia Keys.  WDEZ Club bonus is Oprah.

    Keith Urban

Keith Urban and his family will be heading back to his native Australia next month to tour. Keith shares that this time he gets to give his fans Down Under the same show as his U.S. fans:

"This is the first time we'll be able to take the whole production down. I mean, we shipped everything down... We had a month-and-a-half between finishing the tour in the States and starting down there, so we were able to ship everything - including the stage and everything. So, I'm really looking forward to finally being able to do it properly down there."

    Nicole Kidman and Sunday Rose

Meanwhile, Keith's wife, Nicole Kidman, revealed that the couple baptized daughter Sunday Rose while in Italy on holiday recently. She told Grazia magazine,"The priest there baptized our baby and it was a beautiful time." and that the baptism celebration was "beautiful," adding, "There was a little church in the place where we were at just outside Siena."

  • Carrie Underwood: Holiday Variety Special A Dream Come True!

    Carrie Underwood

From People.com...Carrie Underwood has plenty to be thankful for this holiday season. She recently hosted the CMA Awards, released her third CD, Play On, and just wrapped up her variety special Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special. "It was a lot of fun to tape and I think we ended up with a great show," Underwood says of her very own two-hour special.

The singer, 26, teams up with an impressive list of stars on her show (airing Dec. 7 on FOX at 7 p.m. CST), including her CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley, Kristin Chenoweth, David Cook and country legend Dolly Parton.
"It was a dream come true," Underwood says of getting to working with Parton. It was "such a special moment for me in the show to be able to perform with her."

But on Christmas day you won't find this Oklahoma native on any sound stage – she'll be home for the holidays. "We are together and that's the most important thing," says Underwood of spending time with her family, adding, "My mom always makes a broccoli cheese casserole and potato casserole. I just love food!"

  • The Strengths of Lady A's Members

    Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum is enjoying their newfound success as a trio. Hillary Scott says that she and band mates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood have dreamed about it their entire lives. She shares, "[We] feel so blessed to be able to wake up every day and do this for a living. I think we try to live with that mindset."

So what qualities do each of the band members bring to the table? Scott says, "I think Dave is the brains of the operation. He has this brilliant production mind. He's the glue that holds us together. Charles and I are really type A and he's completely type B so it balances out really well. Charles is the go-getter. He's always hustling. I'm always the one who's like, 'Let's just hang out,' and they're like, 'No, let's write! Let's write!' They push me."

Charles brags on Hillary, noting, "She brings the heart, though. Honestly we would have run this thing off the track if she wasn't keeping us right down there and making us realize what's important - and that's us staying together and enjoying this and soaking it up. So, Hillary doesn't give herself enough credit." Dave chimes in, "And she's the hottest one!"

  • Joe Nichols and Lee Ann Womack Support Our Troops

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

    Joe Nichol

Joe Nichols has been to Iraq to perform for the troops and he wishes more country stars would do the same. He says, "I'm embarrassed that a lot of very successful country music artists that don't need the money right now, haven't even sniffed the possibility of going to Iraq or Afghanistan. Why not? It takes two weeks of your time; it doesn't cost you a dime. What you get out of it is worlds of appreciation and who doesn't want that?"

    Lee Ann Womack

Lee Ann Womack took a trip to Hawaii recently but it wasn't for a vacation. Lee Ann was in the Aloha state to welcome home 35 hundred troops who've been serving in Iraq for over the past year. Partnered with the USO, Womack greeted the men and women and their families to a private performance at Sills Airfield. She says, "The troops have a special place in my heart. Working with the USO to welcome home these brave men and women is a great opportunity for me to show them how much I appreciate their great sacrifice."
