  • Meet Tinker the Bell Ringer

    Posted by Bryan Scott

Tinker is one of the most successful bell ringers for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.  And he lives in West Bend, WI.  He now brings in about ten times the normal average.  He uses his mouth to ring the bell and then holds up a sign that reads "Thank You and Merry Christmas."  He'll even let you pet him :)

Hmmm... I wonder if he's related to Dominic the Donkey???

Check out a video of Tinker from a few years back...

Rick Monroe does a fun web series called Sneak Peek where he plays a sample of a song that he or someone he knows has written, but will probably never be put on a cd. He recorded this week's Sneak Peek here at WDEZ! Check it out and follow his youtube channel for new Sneak Peeks every week.

  • The last of this kind

    12 YEARS-OLD ... AT 12:12 P.M. ON 12/12/12

A boy from Birmingham, Ala. will turn 12 years old at 12:12 p.m. today-- 12/12/12.

Kiam Moriya  has a New York birth certificate from 2000 to prove it.

His family jokes that he’s “the chosen one,” since they are Japanese and his birth year of 2000 is considered as the 12th year of the reign of the current emperor, known as “Heisei 12.’’

Of course, there are also some weirdos online who insist that the boy needs to be killed or that he is the Antichrist.

** By the way, since there is no 13/13/13, Kiam is also the last one who can have a birthday of this kind.

  • They Are Watching You!

    Posted by Bryan Scott

Verizon, Google TV, Comcast and other companies have patented technologies that will enable them to watch and hear what's going on in your living room.  They claim it will help them advertise directly to your specific daily needs.  If you are arguing, you might see an ad for a great divorce attorney.  If you are scratching something, you might get an ad for Gold Bond.  Scary huh?
